I only thought of it because I was an English major and I had to write cover letter after cover letter and send them to businesses hoping to get a job and it would have been nice to have someone to send them to to look over them since once you look at the same thing again and again it’s hard to see it objectively. So anyway, I put up my website last year and I got all kinds of small business xo solutions and business has been pretty well! I do all kinds of stuff like business proofreading as well as resumes, cover letters and even the occasional college essay and you’d be surprised what people are willing to pay for my kind of work. I love doing what I do but there’s no guarantee it will last but for now I’m happy to have such a flexible job like this.
