This has to be the handiest little thing EVER! The Slice Safety Cutter - great for couponers. Let me tell you how fast it is to clip coupons with this.

Now, I have to admit when I first tested this I tried cutting coupons on the ottoman. I was sitting on the couch and didn't feel like moving. It didn't cut the ottoman at all, but I couldn't figure out why it was tearing the pages. Turns out, you have to cut on a solid surface, like a table top. When I was trying to cut coupons on the ottoman, the pushing down on the slicer was also pushing in the ottoman and the little slicer couldn't "catch" the paper to cut. It was actually my other half that explained why it wasn't working - it was user error, not the tool.

Once I starting cutting on a solid surface it was amazing, much faster than scissors.  It has a tiny ceramic blade you place where you want to start cutting, then just pull it parallel on the paper. Make sure you don't hold it at an angle or it won't cut. The correct way will looks like in the picture to the left. Lay flat and pull.

I know it's small but there are some features to keep the Slice Safety Cutter where you can find it. First, it's also a magnet. You can attach it to your refrigerator for safe keeping until you need it again. Second, there is a key ring hole, another way to keep from losing it.

Don't forget about scrapbooking! You can cut with precision to keep your scrapbook looking great. The kids can even help without having to worry about them cutting themselves. You can run that ceramic blade over your hand and not get cut. Safety first!
