Honestly, I'm not a big fan of hand sanitizers. They have a horrible smell, alcohol to be specific. Most women put lotion on their hands several times a day to keep them soft. Then you use hand sanitizer with all the alcohol in it, this has to undo all the effort you put into trying to keep your hands soft. It may actually be the reason why your hands feel dry! |
So I decided to review Prefense Non Alcohol Foam Hand Sanitizer when I had the chance. I have to admit, I was surprised. There is no alcohol at all in this, the stinky smell I mentioned doesn't exist with Prefense! Neither does drying out your hands. Because Prefense is silica based, so it helps soften your hands instead of drying them out. Prefense is also non-toxic so you don't have to worry about your kids using it.
The bottle I received was the 1.5 oz. size. I thought it was a small bottle and wouldn't last long. Then I read my info that came with it and it turns out that small bottle is actually 120 applications. Prefense will also keep protecting your hands for up to 10 washes. There is no need to re-apply every time you wash your hands.
Overall, I liked Prefense, it changed my mind about hand sanitizers.
