Diamond Candles
| What fun these candles are! Diamond Candles actually put a ring worth $10, $100, $1000, or $5000 inside every candle. I received Gingerbread Latte scent for this review. I didn't smell too much of the gingerbread but if you like the smell of coffee this scent is for you. It was like walking into a coffee shop! I could smell coffee even when the lid was off the candle and it wasn't burning. Now, I'm not the most patient person on the planet. The only problem I had was waiting for the candle to burn down so I could get the ring out. Soy candles actually take a while to burn down, so I waited..... and waited. My husband suggested a blow torch to speed up the process, great idea, but I think it's cruel to suggest something we don't have. I was so happy when I finally got my ring out, it's pretty (see picture below)! I don't know the value, but it's fun anyway. Many people take their rings to have them appraised. Check out Diamond Candles facebook page to see the pictures people posted of their rings. Mine is on there too, under facebook user name FHSfreebies. My tip: when you get your ring out of the candle, rinse it off with hot water to melt off any excess wax. Diamond Candles are earth friendly all natural soy, the jars the candles are housed in can be reused for many other purposes after you candle is burned. I actually have a candle jar in my bathroom that holds Q-Tips now. The jars are 21oz and six inches high with an air tight lid. Perfect to reuse! Diamond Candles cost $24.95 for one or you can by 5 packs of candles in different scents for $124.75. Diamond Candles has a scent to please every nose! Burn time: 125 to 160 hours of fragrance. |
