COVERGIRL & Olay Tone Rehab 2-in-1 Foundation

and COVERGIRL & Olay Pressed Powder

I haven't used liquid foundation or a pressed powder compact in years. I switched to mineral makeup a while back. I like it, it feels like I'm not wearing makeup on my face. That was one of the issues I had with liquid foundations and pressed powders. The other was my skin would get oily so often through out the day from the makeup on my face.

I was a little apprehensive when asked to review Covergirl & Olay Tone Rehab 2-in1 Foundation and Covergirl & Olay Pressed Powder. I was having flashbacks of foundation you can feel sitting on your skin.

I put on the foundation and it wasn't thick at all and actually wasn't heavy on my skin either. I really was surprised. Covergirl says the foundation covers discolorations, age spots and will even improve your skin tone over time. I'm sure that has to do with the Olay product in it. I will admit it evened out my skin tone when wearing it and I noticed my skin felt better after a few days. I have some dry spots and those did look better after using it a while.

Even the pressed was light as a feather. I only had to re-apply this once during the day to get rid a shiny spot on my forehead. With other pressed powders I would have to re-apply several times a day. Then my makeup would start looking "caked on." This one however is super light and gives great coverage. It even helps brighten your skin tone.

I was very impressed with both the Covergirl & Olay Tone Rehab 2-in-1 Foundation and Covergirl & Olay Pressed Powder. Looks like makeup has come a long way since I used liquid foundation and pressed powder. I'm glad I decided to try them, I think I'll keep using these.

How to get them: Covergirl & Olay Tone Rehab 2-in-1 Foundation and Covergirl & Olay Pressed Powder are both available at most retailers.
