I have been asked by several bloggers what I use to monetize my blog and where to find products for reviews and giveaways. I'm pretty new at this but, I am happy to share affiliate programs I have found that are worth working with. As I find more I will post them.

If anyone is interested, I use Yola as my site builder. It's easy to use and you can make a free website or you can purchase your site. Just click on the pink button for more info. I am not an affiliate of Yola, it's just what I use.

You Will Need To Know Your Page Ranking

Most review/giveaway sponsors use Alexa and/or Google rankings to choose blogs for their reviews/giveaways.

You will need to know the Alexa Traffic Rank of your blog, the easiest way to find out is to install the Alexa Toolbar. The lower the number the more popular your site is. Example: Yahoo ranks #4, facebook ranks #2 and Google ranks #1. The toolbar will give you the ranking of your blog and the ranking of every other site you visit. I installed this and love it! You will also want to know your Google PageRank, this is a scale of 0 to 10. The higher the number the better this time. Check your Google PageRank by following the link. Google PageRank Check

TIP: It's a good idea to set up a PayPal account, it's the easiest way to get paid.

Sell Ad Space - You set your price for the space on your site. See my Advertising Info Page for examples. I've seen ad space available as low as $2 for a week on other blogs.

Affiliate Programs

You have to apply to be an affiliate of Logical Media. Once you're approved you get per click offers, per sale offers, coupons to print and even freebies. You choose the campaigns that fit your blog.

You also have to apply to work with MySavings. Don't get discouraged if they turn you down the first time, you can always reapply. I actually received a phone call from them before I was approved. They also provide you with per click, per sale, coupons to offer and freebies to post. You get to choose your campaigns with them too.

Like Logical Media and MySavings, CPA DNA has per sale offers, coupons to print and freebies. You choose the campaigns that fit your blog.

If you have a twitter account and are tweeting anyway you can sign up for sponsored tweets. You can set your price per tweet or you can use their recommended price.

This pays per click and not very much. This is on my blog for readers who like to check out Sunday's coupon early.

My Likes ~ This is similar to Sponsored Tweets except you can post to FB & TW

Revenue Curve - This is similar to MySavings and Logical Media.

events. The network provides access to some of the best known consumer brands in the country.

Your blog has to be approved by MyBlogSpark.

Sites To List Your Giveaways

The obvious answer is your facebook and twitter pages, but there are other sites you can list your giveaways on.

Some of them require you become a member of their site. Memberships are free and there is no charge for posting a giveaway.
